CPL Ventures LLC operates Control Comments. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit the Control Comments website, request a free trial, use the service, connect Meta assets, or communicate with us by email, telephone, or text message.

By using the website or providing information to us, you acknowledge the practices described in this policy.

We may collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, telephone number, number of Facebook advertising accounts, company information, trial requests, communication preferences, consent records, support requests, and the contents of your communications.

When you authorize Control Comments to access Meta assets, we may process business portfolio, Facebook Page, Instagram account, advertising account, campaign, ad, post, comment, reply, account owner, vendor label, moderation action, and synchronization information made available through Meta. This can include a commenter name or public profile identifier, comment text, timestamps, and related advertising context.

We process this information to display connected conversations, attribute each comment to the correct advertising source, classify comments, carry out authorized moderation actions, maintain audit history, support the service, and improve reliability. You are responsible for obtaining all permissions required to connect and manage the assets you authorize.

We may collect limited technical information automatically, including browser type, device information, IP address, referring pages, pages viewed, error data, and general interaction information through cookies, logs, analytics tools, and similar technologies.

We may use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate and activate trial access, provide and improve Control Comments, authenticate users, connect approved Meta assets, classify and manage comments, deliver support, secure the service, maintain business records, comply with law, and send communications where you have provided appropriate consent.

When you expressly opt in to receive text messages, we may use your mobile number to send the categories of messages described at the point of consent. Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of purchase. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, use another reasonable method to revoke consent, or reply HELP for assistance.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share information with subcontractors that provide support services, such as customer service. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are excluded from all other sharing categories and will not be disclosed to third parties.

We may disclose information to service providers that help us host the website, operate cloud infrastructure, process forms, deliver communications, analyze performance, provide security, or support Control Comments. These providers may use information only to perform services for us and are expected to protect it.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain moderation and consent records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information by contacting us. You may unsubscribe from marketing email through the link in the message and opt out of text messages by replying STOP or using another reasonable method to revoke consent. Disconnecting a Meta integration can limit future collection, but may not remove records we must retain for security, legal, or audit purposes.

Control Comments is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 13. The service may link to or integrate with third-party services, including Meta. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

We may update this policy periodically. The effective date above indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be posted on this page.
